How we calculate
Educational examples, not individualized financial advice. No market-price data is provided.
Current model: 2026.09.27.4. USD is the calculation currency. The same inputs and assumptions produce the same results for the same reference year. Vehicle age uses the current calendar year, so results may change when the year changes.
Value and debt come from your inputs. Displayed equity is value minus debt, with a floor of zero; this display does not quantify negative equity. Monthly carrying cost sums the entered expenses. In the car and boat model, economic cash flow also subtracts modeled depreciation, which is not a cash payment.
Car assumptions: use is days divided by 30, with at most 25 available days. The model books 48% of available days, rounded. Daily revenue is 0.37% of value, rounded and limited to USD 38–125. Variable costs include 30% of gross revenue plus USD 0.12 per modeled rental mile. Annual depreciation is 16% below two years of age or 10% otherwise, plus USD 0.08 per annual mile, divided by twelve. These are model assumptions, not verified rental demand or market prices.
Boat assumptions: up to 25 available days, with 25% modeled bookings, rounded. The daily rate starts at 1.1% of value, multiplied by 1.18 for lengths of at least 35 feet, rounded and limited to USD 180–950. Variable cost is 25% of gross revenue and annual depreciation is 8% of value. These constants do not verify insurance, permissions, weather or demand.
Estimated hidden revenue is the positive difference between the modeled net economic result and the current economic result; it is not guaranteed additional gross income. The car/boat score combines current and potential revenue yields, capital drag and depreciation. It is bounded between 5 and 96, and is not a credit score or a probability of profit. Suggested actions come from fixed rules in the model.
Properties require a separate profile: spaces, annual availability, restrictions and explicit scenario assumptions. Annual planning uses 365 days; unknown values remain unavailable. The detailed analysis shows cash flow with the full mortgage payment and focuses on income from idle space and days. The generic property score and hidden revenue are deliberately not displayed in the public preview.
The AVORA model explains the deterministic results. No external AI is used in this version. The full analysis should use your actual inputs. Sale costs, income taxes, market appreciation and the value of your time are not automatically estimated. Check missing facts and local requirements before acting.
